I’ll speak for men and women when I say this:
How did you go 35 years
without developing
a personality?
Why are you hiding the you that makes you,
you?
Why do you all like tacos, margaritas,
“fur babies,”
and country music?
Do you ever read your two paragraph summary,
does it ever strike you that what you wrote
describes several hundred million
other people
on the planet?
Why are you, we, I so afraid
to stand out?
Why do we try to be all things
to all people
and in so doing
be nothing
to no one?
